The Powerful Force Captain of the Evil Horde is coming!

We all know the story! Kidnapped as a baby and raised by Hordak, Adora fights as Despara for the Evil Horde! And now she is now coming to Masters of the Universe: Origins action figure line as well!

Additionally, we wanted to make sure you all knew that from May 24, 2025, at 8:00am PT through May 25, 2025, at 8:59am PT, only Club Grayskull members can buy this figure at MattelCreations.com, while supplies last. During this early access window, limited units will be made available to Club Grayskull members. Beginning May 25, 2025, at 9:00am PT, the figure will be available to the general public. 

As soon as we have the official images and further details, we’ll report on it. Until then, make sure you circle May 24th on your calendar Club Grayskull Members, because Despara is coming!

  1. I’m really pleased she’s getting a figure but selling it towards the end of the month is dumb AF. 
    Loads of people would happily order 2 or 3 of these if they weren’t already running out of money, and they’re hardly likely to pay shipping again or buy anything else alongside. It’s so needlessly stupid. 

  2. That type of experience leaves a bitter taste in my mouth, just as it did with the Eternia playset. I mean, why don’t elements that emerge for the first time via a cartoon that was exclusively promoted by the Masterverse brand at least get offered as such in the first place? In any case, good for those who were silently hoping for an Origins replica.

      Despara first appeared in the DC Comics continuity. She then appeared in the Classics mini-comics and got a figure in that line.
      Though I agree, she absolutely should have a MV figure.
       

    2. @chrisa Believe it or not, I was totally aware of this. I should have been a little less impulsive and rephrased it as follows: “Elements that were animated for the first time…" Thanks for the correction. Precision is important, especially for those who are hearing about her for the first time.
