When news feels like a broken record.
The grand opening of Mattel’s new theme park resort “Mattel Adventure Park”, currently under construction in Glendale Arizona, has been pushed to “late 2025”.

Originally slated to open in the first quarter of 2023, many Masters of the Universe fans were looking forward to experiencing the “He-Man Versus Skeletor Laser Tag” in a giant 4,500 square foot Castle Grayskull.

That 2023 date was ultimately canceled however, pushing the park’s grand opening to 2024. Later a grand opening was replaced by a late 2024 “soft opening” that didn’t occur either, and 2024 came and went. Mattel Adventure Park’s new grand opening would become 2025.

But now the much hyped Mattel Adventure Park is currently “scheduled to open in late 2025, according to Epic Resort Destinations and Mattel Adventure Park president Mark Cornell”, per the APW. And the word “late” is what we are currently focusing on.

Will we be surprised if this “late 2025” opening timeframe turns into a 2026 date? At this point, we will be surprised if it doesn’t get pushed out until next year.
(The delay is once again reportedly due to expansions from the original experience.)
A second Mattel Adventure Park is also under construction in Kansas.
We’ll see you next time.
The phrase When hell freezes over can now be interchangeable with When Mattel Adventure Park opens.
Hmmmmmm…. trying to coincide with the new Masters of the Universe film, perhaps??
