New Pics & Details revealed for the Masters of the Universe: Origins DEMO-MAN Action Figure coming September 25th

We have new pictures and details for the upcoming Masters of the Universe: Origins DEMO-MAN action figure that goes on sale next week exclusively through Mattel Creations! Check it out:

Two heads may be better than one, but when it comes to MOTU villains, three heads are badder than one. Our Masters of The Universe Demo-Man figure makes his first-ever appearance in the Origins line, bringing three interchangeable heads with him. One features his iconic Demo-Man look;

Another has a lime-green Skeletor-like vibe;

And the third is an alternate Skeletor-style version, inspired by the artwork of Alfredo Alcala.

Official Product Detail & Contents:

  • Masters of the Universe® Origins Demo-Man™ Action Figure
  • Approximately 6 inches tall
  • Features 16+ evil points of articulation
  • Includes three interchangeable heads
  • Comes with two weapons – a sword and morning star
  • Also includes a mini-comic

Demo-Man is the subject of conflicting origin stories. Our new figure embodies them all, and strikes fear in the hearts of Eternia’s heroes.

Demo-Man has been made as a figure before, but not by Mattel – until now. Our version pays tribute to comics and concept art for the character.

The Evil Spirit of Despondos arrives with two weapons and three interchangeable heads, including a Skeletor-style version, inspired by artist Alfredo Alcala’s visions.

Orders for the Masters of the Universe Origins Demo-Man action figure launches September 25, 2024 09:00 am PT on the Mattel Creations Website.

We’ll see you next time!

    1. @chrisa I think this is the reason why Mattel doesn’t feature Classics prominently in promo materials, or in the book by DK…
      This makes the Classics arrangement seem unclear and unusual. If the brand manager… manages his own new line…while working at Mattel… why it’s not counted as Mattel product is strange.
      But yeah, gives a hint of why Mattel wanted to start fresh with MOTU, do it 100% themselves, have new molds and designs they own 100%, no conflicts with prior arrangements, go big, into retail,… but of course with very different cost structures, hence less high-end.
      That side note really caught my eye, too.

  1. This guy beautifully captures that savage MOTU aesthetic of the early days from the minds of Mark Taylor and Alfredo Alcala before Filmation made everything silly.
    I wish Mattel would promote Demo-Man into another Big Bad of MOTU on the same level as Skeletor, Hordak and King Hiss. Grow the brand!!
