When the Masters of the Universe: Origins “Cartoon Collection” Prince Adam and Cringer Two-Pack was released, the packaging art had some wonderful upcoming teases.
One of those marvelous teases was a “Cartoon Collection” Tri-Klops spying on the relaxing Prince from a distance, accompanied by Skeletor and Evil-Lyn.
This tease felt like a natural indicator that a Tri-Klops “Cartoon Collection” figure was likely on the way. But when Mattel showed off their upcoming figures at the San Diego International Comic-Con, Tri-Klops was nowhere to be found.
But now, courtesy of yo_tengo_el_poder on Instagram, we finally have what seems to be an official prototype shot of an upcoming “Cartoon Collection” Origins figure.

As soon as we learn more like product details and release timeframe, we will let you know.

We’ll see you next time!
Yay they fixed his color! Lime green Classics cartoon figure can finally go in the trash!
I hope they fix his visor – there’s an ugly gap there…
And he just comes with that stupid ray gun but no classic sword? Well, I guess he didn’t use it in the cartoon for some strange reason…
And the colour is decent this time, but could maybe be a slight shade darker.
Something aint right with that eye. That pupil is too high. mattel better fix that
