For the past few years, fans have been able to count on Mattel to make a big splash at the San Diego International Comic-Con (SDCC) in regards to the Masters of the Universe brand.
From thrilling toy reveals like the unveiling of a new Masters of the Universe: Origins Eternia playset… to casting announcements like William Shatner in the “Masters of the Universe: Revolution” animated series, the annual He-Man and Skeletor surprises have transformed July into perhaps the best MOTU Month of the year.
So what is coming to San Diego International Comic-Con this year in regards to Masters of the Universe? While we expect plenty of new figures to be announced including the much teased inclusion of She-Ra to the Masters of the Universe: Origins “Cartoon Collection” line (and quite possibly Snake Men coming to Masterverse), the one thing many fans have been most curious about is… will a third season of the Revelation/Revolution trilogy be coming?
Well now it has been announced that Mattel Television, the division behind the critically acclaimed Netflix Animated Series “Masters of the Universe: Revelation & Revolution” will be hosting an event at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con that (among other things) will give fans insider info about “Masters of the Universe: Revolution” as well as a “sneak peek of What’s Next!”
Check it out:
So could Rob David, Vice President Creative Content at Mattel Television, be planning to unveil the next entry in the MOTU: Revelation and Revolution series? “Masters of the Universe: Revolution” will have surpassed its six month anniversary by then, and one would think the powers that be would know by now if the second season in this exciting He-Man series was successful enough to greenlight a continuation.
We will have to wait and see. Stay tuned to ForEternia.com on Friday, July 26th to find out!
We’ll see you next time
I want this to happen so bad y’all. Please happen. Please please please!
Now this is the news I am begging for. Please announce season 3!
All Mattel has to do is drop a logo and that will be enough.
It is really fun having these things to look forward to! This is 2 days after Issue 3 of Revolution comes out, for anyone else who writes stuff like this on their calendar, lol
Hopefully, we get a third and final season before Mattel switches most of their resources to the live action movie and any potential cartoon spinoff.
Please please please more MOTU:R 🙏 🙏 🤞
Yes more please!
Give us something. We’re in a dry spell here.
