  1. This issue was overall cool. I liked seeing all the different armor sets for Skeletor.

Hera Caine trusting Skeletor was a bridge too far. I know that stuff happened in the cartoons but seriously how can anyone trust someone with that skull face. 😂

  2. Bugged my boyfriend to take me to the comic book store just to get this issue, I didn’t want to miss the issue before it was all gone (There were 2 issues left, and the reason I was eager was because I missed on getting physical copies of issues 3 and 4 of Masterverse)

  3. I just got my copy today. Have to say my favorite thing about series so far has been the cover art. I absolutely love the puppeteer Skeletor art. These look so cool on display. Looking forward to issue 4 with Battlecat prominently featured on a cover.  Unfortunately the story isn’t terribly engaging. Or maybe it’s just that a few scenes have felt really contrived and it takes me out of it. Also, for it being called Forge of Destiny, the actual forge hasn’t been much of a big deal. Hopefully the last issue blows me away.
I’m not wanting or trying to grouse. Having listened to the interview with Tim Seeley, I appreciate it more than I probably would have without knowing any of the little background tidbits he gave us. I know it was still written with love and the writers just have their hands tied with how much they are able to use and tie in to other content.

  4. I’ve been giving it a read digitally. I literally have no space for new comics currently. I am enjoying it despite its flaws and some wasted opportunities but on the whole it’s pretty good. Although slightly disappointed that we are seeing another Super Skeletor. Buy variant toy opportunities can’t be missed
