Masters of the Universe fans have always been curious what the loveable Trollan magician known as Orko looked like underneath his scarf and hat.
This mystery, which has remained a secret for over 40 years, was originally going to be revealed back in 1983’s Filmation animated series He-Man and the Masters of the Universe in the episode “Dawn of Dragoon” where Orko reveals his face to Dree Elle (a Trollan custom you preform when you’re in love and is similar to getting engaged.)
However, Filmation ultimately made the decision not to show Orko’s face in that episode, but rather keep it in shadow and shrouded in mystery.
But now Orko’s face will be revealed to all the world in the form of Mondo’s upcoming sixth scale figure no less. Till now, we have only seen concept art of Mondo’s upcoming Orko figure….
…but designers from Mondo were recently on the Toy Geeks livestream of Geek.Dad.Life last week and revealed some new details regarding our favorite upcoming Trollan Mondo interpretation. Those details not only included a face reveal for their upcoming Orko figure, but feet too! Check it out:
Mondo Six Scale ORKO Figure Details:
- Fully sculpted body
- Robes
- Legs
- Feet
- Unmasked head
- Prototype may be on display at Power-Con 2023 this August
The Mondo designers also revealed that their amazing sixth scale She-Ra figure will finally get her sixth scale mount!
Like Battle Cat to He-Man, She-Ra’s faithful alicorn steed Swift Wind will also be realized in Mondo sixth scale plastic. Alright Swifty!
We also learned that:
- Beast-Man pre-orders will be taken this Fall
- Panthor pre-orders will be taken this Fall
- Teela‘s prototype will be on display at Power-Con 2023 this August (with pre-orders taken in Q1 2024)

Add that to the news that more Masters of the Universe: Revelation Animated Style Mondo figures are on the way (click HERE to read more), and we definitely have some exciting days ahead for MOTU Sixth Scale fans!
We’ll see you next time!
