MASTERVERSE New Eternia Whiplash Packaging & Artwork confirms it’s a Wave 9 Deluxe

This wave keeps on getting bigger and bigger! Now we have yet another collectible action figure that we can confirm is part of the ninth Masterverse Wave.

Thanks to our community member Raúl, not only do we have our first look at the exciting Masterverse packaging for the upcoming New Eternia Whiplash Deluxe figure, but the back of that packaging reveals that our favorite “Tail-Thrashing Warrior” is also a Ninth Wave release!

First let’s check out this terrific artwork by Joseph John Zacate:

And here is Whiplash’s bio:

The chaotic cataclysm that shattered New Eternia ripped open a portal to a terrifying dimension known as the Demon Zone, home of the powerful reptilian race, the Caligar, and their leader, Whiplash. The merciless brute conquers New Eternia island by island, as he crushes all who stand in his way with the savage power of his thick-hided tail.

Now when we view the packaging itself, not only do fans get a peek at how the Masterverse New Eternia Whiplash will look on a retail shelf near you, but it also reveals that it will be part of Masterverse Wave 9,  rounding out an already impressive lineup!

So now Wave 9 is confirmed to consist of:

  • Revelation Mer-Man 2.0
  • Princess of Power Grizzlor
  • New Eternia Buzz-Off
  • New Eternia Faker
  • New Eternia Clawful Deluxe
  • New Adventures of He-Man: Skeletor
  • New Eternia Ram Man Deluxe
  • New Eternia Whiplash Deluxe

New Eternia Whiplash and the rest of Masterverse Wave 9 should be available for purchase later this Summer! We’ll see you next time!

  1. It looks cool, but I don’t know if I am really interested in getting it. Don’t know why…. maybe it is one of the figures I never got when I was a child. I fondly remember, from my childhood figures: He-man, Skeletor, Beast man, Mechanek, Stratoss, Man at arms, Man-e-faces, Mer man, Buzz-off, Trap Jaw, Tri-clops, Extendar, Ram man, King Hiss, Orko, Teela, Evil Lyn. It is funny, I really haven’t any memory of Scare-glow, not even in the series. Probably I had lost interest already, when it came out! About Whiplash, Spikor, Tung lashor,Webstor and others, I discovered them much later. That’s probably why they are for me somehow…. of secondary importance if compared to the ones I mentioned above.
