Masterverse Clamp Champ Confirmed! Plus updates on Faker, Whiplash and more!

Hot on the heels of yesterday’s report detailing upcoming Masterverse figures like Ram Man and Whiplash (that report can be found HERE), we now have new information to add, including the confirmation of a Masterverse Clamp Champ figure!

Courtesy of the Geek. Dad. Life YouTube Channel (a link to the specific video can be found HERE), host Jay was overseas attending the Spielwarenmesse (an international toy fair in Nuremberg, Germany) where he saw physical upcoming Masterverse figures on display by Mattel. He couldn’t take pictures, but here are the details he shared:

  • CLAMP CHAMP: A Masterverse Clamp Champ was physically on display (which fills in one of those unanimous figure spots we reported on yesterday.) No confirmation on what subline Clamp Champ belongs to, though.
  • WHIPLASH (DELUXE) : A Masterverse Whiplash was physically on display. It is reportedly from the NEW ETERNIA subline, it is in a DELUXE box, has an impressive brand new large buck, and is huge in the vein of Two Bad.
  • FAKER: A Masterverse Faker was physically on display. It’s skin color is blue, has pink armor, and is most likely made with the original He-Man buck. Its subline was not identified.
  • RAM MAN (DELUXE): A Masterverse Ram Man was physically on display. It was in a Deluxe box, came with lots of armor, and was seemingly smaller than its Classics counterpart. The subline was not determined.
  • MER-MAN: This Mer-Man was in a classic style and apparently looked like the Mer-Man from “Masters of the Universe: Revelation” series, possibly from his flashback scene.

Quite exciting details! We can’t wait to get our first look at these upcoming figures, especially the impressively sounding New Eternia Whiplash. Stay tuned!

We’ll see you next time!

    1. I’m really excited about the new Figures. Unfortunately, not all figures were normally available in stores in Germany during the last Waves! Hopefully that will change again with the coming Waves!

Distribution has really been strange for sure, especially outside of the US. And I heard Europe still has not received King Grayskull… 🙁

  1. Yes, King Grayskull has not yet officially appeared in Germany, only very expensive US imports!

The same problem is also with the Masterverse Revelation Trap Jaw and the Masterverse Hordak! They won’t be officially available in Germany (why? Nobody knows) and we German fans will have to import these figures from the USA at very high prices including shipping and customs!

Masterverse Frosta and New Eternia Jitsu haven’t appeared here yet either! Fortunately, the New Eternia Two Bad is currently available here and it’s really great!

Wow, that is frustrating. I wonder what is the reasoning behind why those particular figures aren’t in Germany. It doesn’t quite feel fair to collectors to only offer a portion of the line.

I’m happy to hear you have Two-Bad over there at least. It’s such a terrific figure!

  2. Maybe we can set-up a way to help out other members of the community.  If several people in a specific area need a figure that is being regularly clearenced in the US, let us purchase and send them over.  Shipping is mitigated if we can get a few people to go in together.

Hmm.  Might be a program worth exploring once we’re more sizable!
