Hordak is Coming, Battle Cat Speaks, plus more is officially confirmed for ”Masters of the Universe: Revolution”!

The “40 Years of Masters of the Universe” Panel Event at San Diego International Comic-Con’s Hall H and hosted by Kevin Smith is now over, but the night didn’t end without revealing a few more details that fans can expect from the new exciting follow-up series “Masters of the Universe: Revolution”.

Here is what we know:

Starting with new characters, as expected, the evil Hordak has been officially confirmed as appearing in “Masters of the Universe: Revolution”. Other “time-honored” characters were also promised to make appearances, but those are remaining unspecified as Kevin Smith is keeping them a surprise.

As for current characters, Kevin Smith indicated that this time around we’ll be getting plenty of He-Man in its sophomore follow-up. That’s right, the alter ego of Prince Adam will be appearing in every single episode of “Masters of the Universe: Revolution”. And unlike in Revelation, Cringer will not be the only green tiger speaking in Eternia. Yes fellow fans, Battle Cat will finally have lines of dialogue this time around, just like he did in the classic Filmation series.

Add all this to the earlier stunning announcement that legendary actor William Shatner will be joining the voice cast of “Masters of the Universe: Revolution” (as Granamyr perhaps?), and tonight certainly turned out to be quite a night for Revelation/Revolution fans!

    1. From what I understand, there was no intention to livestream the event and people in attendance were restricted from taking videos. The panel was exclusively for the audience.

Was it professionally recorded with plans to release it later, no idea, but we can only hope!
