Alan Oppenheimer voiced the He-Man & Skeletor Cameo in ”Chip ‘n Dale: Rescue Rangers”

A lot of Masters of the Universe fans were delightfully surprised late last month when they saw a cameo of He-Man and Skeletor in the new film “Chip ‘n Dale: Rescue Rangers” which debuted on the subscriber based streaming service Disney+. But what makes this cameo extra special was learning that both the He-Man and Skeletor characters were actually voiced by none other than legendary Filmation voice actor Alan Oppenheimer!

That’s right! Born April 23, 1930, the 92 year old actor who created the iconic voice of Skeletor (among other voices) in the 1983 classic animated series “He-Man and the Masters of the Universe” (and more recently Moss Man in “Masters of the Universe: Revelation”) triumphantly returned to voice his skull-faced, blue-skinned villian once more!

Check it out:

We love that Alan is still going strong, and hope to hear his voicework continue in the upcoming Netflix series “Masters of the Universe: Revolution”!

Until next time!
