Written by Today we’re going to take a quick look at the Orlax of Primeria toy that was released with the “Masters of the Universe: Origins” Secrets of Grayskull Power-Con 2021 Exclusive Accessory Pack!
The pack included other very cool Masters of the Universe collectibles, but since the Orlax is specifically important to “Masters of the Universe: Revelation” (read all about it HERE), we are going to focus on this specific interdimensional being!
First appearing in the vintage Castle Grayskull ‘Dwell of Souls’ Dungeon sticker (below, top left), thanks to the writers of “Masters of the Universe: Revelation”, we finally have a name for this creature, as well as a backstory!
Standing at about 9 and 1/2 inches tall (approximately 24 centimeters), the Orlax of Primeria can snap right into its cell door base, which gives the appearance that it’s stretching right through the cell bars.
You can also swing the bars out and snap the Orlax directly into the castle floor, if you prefer a more locked up display of the creature.
The bottom half of the Orlax is constructed out of hard plastic, while the top is more flexible and has a rubber like texture. Unfortunately, it’s just not posable.
While we like the Orlax very much (even though we still wish it was posable), our only complaint with this piece is its color is off and doesn’t quite match the vintage Castle Grayskull sticker nor the Revelation prequel comic or series.
Otherwise, it’s a great piece to display along side your Masterverse figures!
