As we look back at 2021, we’re closing out the New Year with five wishes we hope happens in 2022 for the fantastic new Netflix series “Masters of the Universe: Revelation”.
Our #2 wish is…
#2. More Extended Universe Stories in Revelation’s Continuity.
Sales were reportedly very good for this year’s official “Masters of the Universe: Revelation” comic book prequel series by Dark Horse Comics. Spanning over four issues, and written by showrunner Kevin Smith and episode writer Tim Sheridan, the story surrounded an Orlax attack on King Randor, while expertly weaving smaller origin stories within the larger narrative.
This comic prequel series was so enjoyable that we’d love to see Dark Horse do more comic runs within Revelation’s continuity. Perhaps they can explore further stories within the years between He-Man’s sacrifice & the death of magic, and his ultimate resurrection. There is just so much fertile ground for comic writers to explore!
And it doesn’t have to end with comics – they can produce novels and even audio dramas too!
So please make it happen Kevin and Dark Horse!
