Does anyone know where the best place to go to buy vintage figures and be affordable? I want to buy some again that I had as a little oneÂ
Ebay is good for all that stuff
Big Bad Toys is a great place unless your looking for the vintage 80's which... Honestly I don't know why you would when they have pretty much remade them both with the new joints and I think from Super 7 unless I am wrong, could just be right from Mattel that you can get remakes that look just like the old ones. I personally think that if you like the old style, the new ones, not talking about the 7" ones, be the origon line I personally feel is better then the 80's toys. And before anyone asks, I grew up playing in the sandbox with a bunch of other kids with the Master of the Universe figures. However... I always seemed to be the kid with the bad guys and everyone else was He-Man or other good guys. My poor Beat Man couldn't face that much testosterone.

However, if you want to feel the nestalgia and HAVE to have the 80's make then Ebay for sure. But just check on Mattel creations and other Collectable toy store sites before you make that decision. You might just be happy with the new stuff.
I know your probably not looking for the Classic line, but I do have bodies that I have from converting the classics to the new bodies that are out. I know people are probably going to scream at me for it but I love the new hidden as well as extra joint on the elbo and knee. Just happy the classics lines heads fit on the new figures. A bit tight, but thats okay.
Sometimes the best vintage figure deals can come from garage sales, small toy conventions and believe it or not, church thrift stores!
We have the Power!
Check Mecari, their fees are way lower than eBay this the buyer usually gets a better deal. Â Also look into nearby comic and hobby shops. Â Conventions, big or small, usually have a premium markup. Â Maybe we can get a buy/sale/trade area set up in the forums.
