Written by Back in February (along with the big announcement that Ram Man would be played by actor Jon Xue Zhang in the new “Masters of the Universe” Movie) we learned of two other non-Heroic, non-Evil Warrior castings:
While there were no further details provided about these characters Suzie and Hussein, we speculated both would be acquaintances of Prince Adam on Earth.
And now, thanks to a new report by Collider, we have learned that actress Sasheer Zamata is done filming her part. Here is what Sasheer had to say:
SASHEER ZAMATA: "I have no idea what I can tease. [Laughs] But I finished shooting it. I think they're still shooting the movie, but my part is done."
Actress Sasheer Zamata also provided some insight into her “Suzie” role, indicating it was more comedic:
"It's very fun, and that one — for me — is actually more comedy, which is my wheelhouse, so it was very fun to do."
And she mentioned she had a great time filming this part:
"Everyone is such a joy to work with on that set. I truly had a blast doing it, and I also can't wait to see it."
Filming for “Masters of the Universe” is currently underway with the movie scheduled to be released in cinemas worldwide on June 5th, 2026.

i’ve actually always liked the idea of each new iteration of MoTU introducing original characters; like how NA had characters that weren’t in the og filmation show or andra in the revelation etc. there was also julie (courtney cox’s character) in the 1987 film and all of the original characters Mattel has been making as figures for the origins line.
also remember guys, king grayskull was a character original created for the 200x series.
i wonder what suzie and hussien will be like?
for now, i’m just glad that my poor adam won’t be a loner on earth. 😭😅 lol
