The new “Masters of the Universe” Movie coming from Amazon MGM Studios and Mattel Films has been filming for a while now.
And while some amazing images have thrilled fans recently featuring exciting new set pieces like a partial Castle Grayskull…

…and what appears to be a gigantic Eternian Map…

…what is equally thrilling is seeing the character illustrations depicted around that map.
Yes, thanks to the very keen eye of the awesome community member @tuskador1981, here are the characters identified circling that map… many of them being She-Ra characters! Check it out:
BOW

NETOSSA

ZODAK (2002 “200X” Series)

KING HISS and PERFUMA?

Seeing illustrations of She-Ra characters is certainly surprising considering there is usually a rights divide between the He-Man and She-Ra rosters.
Are these illustrations a sign that the new “Masters of the Universe” Movie currently in production has access to both franchises? We can only hope!
Filming for “Masters of the Universe” is currently underway with the movie scheduled to be released in cinemas worldwide on June 5th, 2026.
We’ll see you next time!
So when it comes to this movie She-Ra is in universe?
I think so! This movie is gonna be insane!
If Amazon has access to She-Ra and is holding on to her for maximum effect, the day we find out will break the internet.
Amazon is working on a She-Ra show and they may be connected.
Isn’t it spelled Zodac?
The black version in 200x is named Zodak.
My theory is these are supposed to be mythological characters representing Eternian constellations. Hiss = Ophiucus, Bow = Orion, Zodak = Libra, Perfuma = Virgo, Netossa = Andromeda, etc.
In other words, it’s a zodiacal/cosmic chart.
That is a good theory mate.
@nicomartelle Great!
I love your theory Nico! The only possible bump in the road with that would be (unless Eternians named the constellations recently) a main character of She-Ra, Bow, would be eons old!
@admin Thank you! You’re right, unless Bow isn’t a name but a title that can be passed on? Or maybe Etheria and Eternia are separated not only in space, but also in time?
I really like both of those ideas! 👏 👏 👏
KING HI$$!!!!!!!
Nice one @tuskador1981
I thik the “hiss" image could be a He-Ro depiction – In the masterverse cardboard character description is mentioned that he helped or defeated some snakemen invasion!
@tuskador1981 Maybe his arms are fighting a snake instead of becoming a snake. Yea I can see that bro. Maybe. His hair doesn’t look like hair though it looks like a hood. We need some clearer pics!
I wonder if the studio will show us something for MOTU Day.
By the way, HAPPY MOTU DAY!!!
I feel like She-Ra debut shouldn’t be until sequels 3 or 4 ??
They can do it the Marvel way and give She-Ra her own movie and then do an Avengers style crossover movie.
Another thing that can be highlighted from the set photo… It´s the Light Hemisphere map!
There is another character hidden by the broken statue with wings. Maybe it’s Kuduk Ungol?
My family is beyond hyped over this movie!
Let’s not get ahead of ourselves guys with crazy talk about 3 or 4 sequels – this movie needs to make a ton of money first
@IronCross I absolutely agree in every way, but there’s no extended MOTUverse if this film isn’t a huge hit at the box office.
There’s simply way too many cameos and Easter eggs going on here, it suggests real insecurity and heavy fan reliance over bringing in the general public. If nothing else all these characters see their impact lessened if there is a sequel – there’s a big difference between a Marvel credits set-up scene and an elongated neck lol.
Another detail…there´s a king statue broken head on the set..Randor? Sure it´s not Miro´s (bald).
