The Clio Awards mission statement is to celebrate bold work that propels the advertising industry forward. Originally established by the world renowned trade publication “The Hollywood Reporter” back in 1971, the Clio Entertainment Awards recognizes excellence in marketing across film, television, live entertainment and gaming.
So it was indeed an honor yesterday for the Netflix Creative Studio team to win a Bronze Clio Award in the Television/Streaming: Trailer category for their spectacular “Masters of the Universe: Revelation” teaser trailer.
Cut to a rendition of the Bonnie Tyler classic song “Holding Out For A Hero”, this wonderful piece of marketing is more than deserving of all the accolades it has received.
