Um he's good. The topic says Non-Motu film or series posts belong in here. That's what Guardians of the Galaxy is.

Sorry. Wasn't meaning to sound mean.

I'm not good with the whole knowing what letter formed words stand for and I prefer to just type things out even if it's long form. Didn't know what GOFG stood for till after I clicked the link which is why I said, "You could have said it had nothing to do with Masters of the Universe or DC" meaning for me, it would have been nice to lead with that so I wasn't easily click baited. If I saw it said excited for the new Guardians movie to come out I probably would not have said anything at all.

Sorry to have hijacked yet another post feeling like people were friendly here. I'm new and just trying to get a feel and it would be so much more appreciative to be around people who are more understanding that perhaps they don't know EVERYTHING you overly intellient people know.

By the Power of Grayskull, the Guardians movies are the best things from the MCU.

@thenerdwithasuit Guardians of the Galaxy is my favorite MCU franchise too, and that first film (to me) is practically flawless! It's so well made.

Right? It was so heartbreaking! I think the emotional reaction we have to something animated, either typical animation or cg, is the best type of compliment to its creators.

@admin Just got back from seeing it with another friend today and her response right after it was over was "I wanna go home and see my rabbit right now!"

I watched it on Disney Plus.  It was a decent film.  It was better than most Disney releases lately.

@firefly yes it was good but not as good as the first two IMO. There are also rumors going around that they are looking to bring back the original Avengers because of the influx of content not being as good after endgame

They sound like they are pretty set on not bringing back Tony Stark.  I'm not sure they'd bring back Steve Rogers and take away from the new Captain.  I think bringing back the Tom Holland Spider-Man might work some, but I'm not sure the others would have a big impact on the box office.  I think Disney would be better off to take 5 years off and then reset the Marvel Universe. 

@firefly They rode the wave for as long as they could. They definitely all became watered down. I read that the new Captain America test screening wasn’t received well. I’d be ok with Evans coming back but if RDJ came back I feel it would taint Iron man’s legacy

Did this movie sour for anybody during rewatch? I recently watched it again and it's still good but not as good as the first two movies by a lot.

@he-dad I easily watched the first two 8-10 times each over the years. I’ve seen volume 3 twice and don’t think I’ll watch it again

@brasco I believe this will become the popular sentiment.
