I'm surprised Rio Blast is still available. I think the Origins line has declined in popularity. A toy based on an 80s figure being available this long in the Classics hey day was unheard of.
@firefly it's possible that he's just not that popular with the fans. It seems unlikely. It's also possible that the date change threw off a lot of people.

Can anyone tell me if Young Randor's skin tone matches regular He-Man's?

@admin he's almost tempting. But I already have 4 or 5 VC Buzz-Offs.

Yeah, i dont understand how some of you are acting like rio blast is a major player. He’ll be going in the back with MAA not to be seen.
The nostalgia is less strong for Rio Blast due to his timing. Rio Blast appeared in stores during the 1986 holiday season. That was the same time the popularity of Masters of the Universe crashed.

@kraken if Valtack sells out in less than an hour I'll eat one of my hats, live on YouTube.

Well, he was an actual vintage release, unlike a lot of the stuff Mattel put out in this line over the past years, and I would say he was one of the figures that was harder to find *complete* for vintage collectors.

@admin Did they shrink her fat face from the earlier prototype? I pray that they did...
@longtooth That seems logical. He came out near the tail end of the vintage MOTU line when a lot of kids had grown out of the property, and he never appeared in animation, so the nostalgia for him is significantly weaker than earlier characters. Plus, even though I personally love him, I can see how shoehorning an Earth-like cowboy into the world of Eternia could be off-putting to some people.
@lurker-man I'm praying they don't fuck her up since she was always one of the sexiest POP ladies. So far they've done the other females in CC quite well in terms of the faces.

I like what I see but that angle does stink.
If the angle is to hide the derp then Mattel is doing us dirty.
