Did you see she comes in a cardboard box? I am not a fan.

I agree, I was looking forward to the artwork but this just doesn't do it for me.  Despite that fact, I still picked one up.  Got to support the line.  Hopefully this doesn't become the norm.

I hope not too. Imagine this on the retail level? Often I compare like figures to determine which has the best paint job, or at least the best to my liking, but if Mattel continued this trend we would be buying them off the shelf blind so to speak, unaware what exactly is inside.

Just look at the issues Hasbro is having with their new eco-friendly boxes.  People are getting the wrong figures in the D&D boxes more often than not, this is even happening to the reviewers they are sending samples out to.
